THE HUSINESS SHAH

Mosque of Husin-shah (village Saraj, Skopje, in the middle of ⅩⅤⅠ v.) – religious object, monument of culture. It was built from the sanjakbeg Hussein Shah. It has a square base seated with a dome, and today’s appearance on the porch was obtained after the restoration of the 1963 earthquake. In the courtyard there is a six-sided closed turbe, where the builder Hussein-Shah (1566/1567) is buried.
