ANTEVSKI-DREN, Vasil (village Omori, Veles, 28. Ⅹ 1904 – Sofia, 18. Ⅷ 1942) – activist in the National Liberation Movement. From 1915 to 1919, as a minor, he stayed in France, where he finished elementary school. He finished high school in Veles, and at the Faculty of Law in Belgrade. Worked as a lawyer in Skopje, Veles and Kumanovo. Due to his revolutionary activity, he was sentenced to prison terms (1937 and 1940). He was a member of the CPY (since 1941), a fighter at the Skopje Partisan Detachment (since August 1941). On 15th XI 1941 in Veles was arrested by the Bulgarian police, and in May 1942. in Skopje sentenced to death by hanging. The sentence was carried out in a prison in Sofia.
