ANGJELKOVIC, Milorad J. (Medkhana, Prokuplje 16. XI 1927) – geologist, university professor. He graduated from Geology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Belgrade (1951), received his PhD in Geological Sciences (1956), became head of the Geological Department for several years and became a full professor (1967), Vice Dean at the Faculty of Mining and Geology at the Belgrade University. He has published about 170 scientific and expert articles and other articles in the area of stratigraphy, tectonics and regional geology of Yugoslavia, including for Macedonia. He is also the author of 6 university textbooks. His papers represent a significant contribution to the complex study of the geological composition, the tectonic structure and historical geology in Macedonia, especially in the Mesozoic and Paleozoic periods.
