ANGELOVSKI, PETAR

ANGELOVSKI, PETAR (village Lukovo, Kratovo, 16th IX 1943 – Skopje, 1999) – hydrobiologist. He finished elementary education in Zletovo, and secondary school in Strumica. In 1964 He enrolled at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Skopje, where he graduated (1968). The same year he was elected as an assistant. He received his MA in 1976 and received his Ph.D. in 1980, when he was selected as an assistant professor. In 1986 he was elected associate professor, and in 1992 for a full professor. He stayed for some time in the Hydrobiological Laboratory in Zagreb and at the Institute for Biological Research "Sinisa Stankovic" in Belgrade. He dealt with the hydrobiology of groundwater, closer to the taxonomy and ecology of the chironomic fauna. He published twenty scientific papers. D. Ex.
