Andreev, Andrei (Damjan) Damev (1847-1921) – builder and painter from the Tenzhou of Renzovtsi. Son of A. Damjanov, one of the last representatives of the Renaissance builders and one of the most prolific authors, whose action will mark the end of the construction ties in Macedonia. The church "St. Cyril and Methodius "in Tetovo (1885, consecrated in 1925) is one of the most interesting objects in his opus. The other churches that he built in Macedonia ("St. Mary" in Veles – finished, "St. Constantine and Elena" and "St. Dimitrija" in Skopje) testify to a logical development line of the architectural language and the treatment of plastics, decoration and other elements in the objects. Except in Macedonia, he built churches in Prizren (1889) and in Kosovska Mitrovica. From his iconographic activity, only one icon (St. Panteleimon) is registered, which is located in the Veles church "St. Panteleimon ". K. Gr.
