ALEKSIEV, Metodij (Veles, 27 Ⅱ 1888 – Petrich, September 1924) – Macedonian revolutionary and activist in the Communist movement. Proponent of independent Macedonia; communist, communist, member and secretary of the BPK Gorno-Dzhumay district district committee, commander of a detachment in the September Uprising (1923), when the three-day Razlog Republic was created.
