ADAM FROM GOVERNMENT. – a ceramic torso of a man, an archaeological find from the Neolithic settlement Govrlevo, discovered in the research in 2000 The only example of the Neolithic epoch, modeling a male statue and a completely realistic view of a human body, showing the back with the spine and thymus, ribs stomach, hips and thighs, emphasizing musculature and realizing the sexual organ. The figure is fragmented preserved (height 12 cm). Its temporal context is the 4th horizon within the mature phase of the Middle Neolithic, around 4500 BC. LIT: M.
