ACT OF THE SENATE AND THE REPRESENTATIVE HOUSE OF THE CONGRESS OF THE USA FOR GRANTS TO SUPPORT OF GREECE (Washington, 22 Ⅴ 1947) – an act enacted by a law providing financial and economic assistance and for the security protection of Greece. Maintaining the power of the monarchist government, threatened by the CPG with the organized Greek anti-monarchist movement and the massive Macedonian national movement in the Aegean part of Macedonia, was presented as a question of survival of the Greek state, threatened from the outside by the communist states Yugoslavia, Bulgaria and Albania. Greece's security protection gets treatment of an issue of vital importance to the security of the United States itself. LIT: Balkan contractual relations, Ⅲ, Priredio M. Stojkovic, Belgrade, 1999.
